I am so grateful and happy to report that backyard and sidebars gardening has gone so well, we have plenty of rare, heirloom veggies to spare.
The plan is to take these heirlooms (grown from the same seed farmers grew 150 to 400 years ago) and deliver them to your door or hand them to you over a farmers market table.
One of the things we’re growing: Above is Spanish roja, a pungent and redolent garlic that’s hundreds of years old. Some sources say it dates back to the Spanish conquistadors, but I haven’t found confirmation of that.
Check back in the fall for a list of what we have available. In the meantime, happy growing!
